I was getting standard rate and then I made a reconsideration and they sent me back the same standard rate and I felt like my needs wasn’t met so I put in appeal and I had someone call me from dwp 2 weeks later which was today and she told me that instead of going through the tribunals she’s going to see if I can get enhanced so she asked me questions and she awarded me enhanced . How much days would I get the money in my account for backdate ?

Hello tanica123You have been given an "offer" by the DWP because after you submitted your appeal they have looked at your PIP2 Questionnaire form and your Mandatory Reconsideration letter and have found that they have enough written anecdotal evidence from you to warrant giving you an award. I cannot tell you haw much you will get because you did not say what element of PIP they have awarded you Enhanced for. There are two elements of PIP and that is the Daily Living Part and the Mobility part. Will you be getting Enhanced for both parts or Just Mobility or Just Daily Living? The payment will take anything from 4 to 12 weeks but coud be sooner to reach your account.Nasturtium0

All will be explained on your award letter that you should recieve soon but it may take a few weeks depending on backlogs or postal delays.Nasturtium0
