Hi @rammy and a big warm welcome to our online community, how are you doing?
This sounds like an exciting time, and understandable equally daunting! Could I ask a little more about where you hope to move, the type of accommodation and what is troubling you most - if you are comfortable sharing?
Our members will be happy to share their experiences and thoughts so please know, we're all here to support you.
I've moved your thread to our Housing and independent living category and slightly changed the title to help others find your post more easily.
Best wishes and lots of luck.0 -
I am hoping to move to an extra care complex in Derby where I live, unfortunately most of the residents are elderly, but we have our own independent flats and come and go as we please, I have to be assessed first, but there is a big lack of housing for younger physically disabled people0
