Hi, how do I get someone at UC to listen?

Hello. Could anyone help with the best way to address this please. Last week I actually typed into my UC account ‘I feel like driving into a tree’ - they even ignore that (with the exception of a work coach who said to call her)
I was migrated from ESA Support group in 2018 to UC because I moved flats. This was within the same local authority. My claim for UC was on 20 September 2018 they very day new legislation came out to say that HB should not be through UC if within same area. In any case it happened. There’s more. I had to argue to be put into the same level of work group AND they sent me for a WCA which came back as LCA. I lost my needed higher payment. I’ve been like a broken record for 5 years. They keep telling me so much nonsense, messing me about. It’s made me a wreck, a shell of myself. Surely I’ll be entitled to claim for a back payment as this Is an error. How or who do I get to listen. I’ve written on my journal. I’ve phoned, They ignore.

😔

Hello @djam and a warm welcome to our online community, I'm sorry you find us going through this difficult situation.

Have you gone through the mandatory reconsideration process to challenge the LCW decision? And do you have any support from a welfare representative? If not, I'd really urge you to find a free organisation close by via Advice Local - type in your postcode, select welfare benefits to scroll to the list of organisations at the bottom of the following page.

I'm going to send you a little email now, just to check in as I can hear how much you're struggling. Please keep an eye out for it and take care. Our members will do their best to support you too  <3

FYI: I've moved your thread to our Universal credit category and amended the title to help others find your post and respond.
