How long after PIP assessment do DWP receive the report?

Had my telephone assessment on 6th june anyone know how long before dwp recieves report and when i can request it
..also if they are writting the report as we speak on the phone why does it take so long to complete.

The report is sent always completed during the assessment.Sometimes it’s returned the same day, other times longer. If it’s been chosen for audit then this will delay it being returned because it won’t be returned until the audit is completed.If it is then it’s nothing to worry about it just means they are checking the assessor did their job correctly.
Once it’s returned you can request it but please be aware that it’s not the decision, it’s a recommendation only. A lot of the time requesting it causes more needless anxiety.0 -
So i recieved my report text today 3 days after assesment..phoned up for a copy but they would not tell me the recommendation over the phone said it doesnt work like that....im sure ive read that others have got their recommemdation over the phone can anyone relate??0

I don't know how they can tell you what the recommendations are over the phone, without reading the report to see which boxes are ticked. It's just not possible to do this over the phone. Waiting times for them to answer the phone are long enough, without doing this.The report is a recommendation only so any points that are recommended are not added up. If you requested a copy to be sent out you will need to compare the dots against the PIP descriptors to add them up yourself.0
