Hi @darcus71 and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you?
Is there any aspect of the form filling you need us to help with? Here's Scope's advice page on PIP but we can talk through any specifics if you let us know.
Take care and just to note: I've amended your thread title and moved it to our PIP, DLA and AA category to help others spot it and respond.0 -
Hello darcus71The key to getting a successful claim is to make sure that you or your daughter understands what the 12 PIP Activities are and what the descriptors mean. It is the descriptors that get you the points so keep your detailed anacdotal written verbal evicence close to the descriptors and try and aim for atleast half an A4 size page of accurate verbal evidence for each descriptor that applies to your daughter for each activity that is applicable to the conditions she is claiming for.I wrote a lengthy reply on another forum post that you might find usefull for your daughters claim. It is about an MR letterbut the same applies for the PIP2 Questionnaire form (How your disability affects you) The information can be found here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/680205/#Comment_680205Remember detail on the PIP2 form is key and understanding the PIP activities and descriptors. You can use additional sheets of paper if you do not have enough room on the form for your detailed verbal anacdotal evidence but you must reference on the form to the additional sheets included. Include your daughters name and national insurance number on every additional sheet you include and any copies of medical evidence you include with the form also. If you have medical evidence it is a good idea to reference the medical evidence in each activity on the form within your anacdotal written evedence on the form.Hope that helpsNasturtium0
