My award ends 2nd June 2023 however they have extended until 2024. I phoned today and was told that i am in the queue for an assessment , she couldnt tell me if it was a telephone or in person or even how long it will take to hear from them . I suffer fibromyalgia , duptuynes contracture, IBS incontinence , migraines, carpal tunnel, urinary incontinence, dificulty swallowing , GERD , fatigue , long covid and my pain medication has increased to daily morphine since my last award. I am worrying now as i use my award standard daily living to pay for a cleaner and for someone to help with laundry . shopping etc as i am unable to do this now .
Has anyone had any experience of how long the wait might be , i am in Wales . I was hoping they would see my increased medication and be satisfied that i still quality .
thank you for reading

There are extremely long delays with review decisions, which it probably why they extended your award until 2024. Some are waiting over 1 year for a decision. Most have assessments so yours being in a queue for one, is not surprising. Most are by telephone, some are face to face or video.Unfortunately, there's nothing more you can do but wait.1

Hello @Nuttymoo1966
Like Poppy has said, it's very unfortunate it is a waiting game at the moment. When you know more, please update us and we will help in any way possible
I know it's easier said than done not to worry, but please think about joining us in the Coffee Lounge, if you would like to keep your mind off things.1 -
