Hi i currently receive lcwra component esa, have just received another uc50 this will be my 3rd one now since first claim, just wondering if when filling and returning form will they already have all previous info from previous assessments and can i just fill questions as no change? Last 2 i had phone assessments as i physically collapsed and lost consciousness due to the stress at my first face to face assessment Many thanks

Sorry for the bombarding but also if it is worth noting the last review i had i never even filled the uc50 out and returned it and was still processed to a phone call assessment

I would never advise you to just fill out the form and put no change. I don't know if they have access to your previous assessment report. Putting no change doesn't help and you should always treat every review as a new claim and put as much relevant information as possible, without telling your life story.

Doing it this way there's always a chance you could have a paper based assessment, though they are rare, they are definitely possible.

That was likely because there's a vulnerable marker on your file and they used their discretion to proceed without the form. Not everyone will have this and it is possible to be found fit for work for failing to return the form.

Thankyou poppy really appreciated as i have been given different advice it is always very stressful when these come up as for many others, i am in two minds as to ignore the questionnaire again as it was 8 years ago the last time i filled one in and its the only one i don't have a copy of so i dont want to trip my self up in my answers by making it seem as though my condition has improved, my last phone call assessment lasted 10 minutes if that and the assessor was happy to end the call and told me i wouldn't have to worry about a face to face, again thanks for your advice and time to reply

I wouldn't advise anyone to ignore the UC50 form.

I would fill out the form as if it’s a new claim. But also it’s very likely they will look at your previous assessment reports. They certainly do with ESA. When I was on ESA they mentioned in my assessment report that part of the evidence they’d used to put me in the Support Group were their assessment reports from ten years prior and from eight years prior.
