I sent my PIP renewal through
and received a text from DWP 23/08/2022 to say they had received my form.
Another text from DWP ON 17th November 2022, saying we still have your PIP Form.
Another text from DWP 9th February 2023, we will be progressing your review soon.
28/04/2023 I received a text from PIP.
Hello from Independent Assessment Services. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions DWP. This is for information purposes only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to have a consultation with you. You can find information about the service we provide at https://www.mypipassessment.co.uk. You do not need to contact us.
Then this morning 15th June 2023 text from DWP. Disability cost of living payment will be paid automatically.
I'm sure my end date is 25th June 2023.
What do you think I should do? As it's over 6weeks since that text from PIP.
I'm worried that the money will just stop.
TIA CurryPotty

They should have sent you a letter saying they’re automatically extending your PIP for 12 months. I got that letter the other day and my original end date was July 20230

There's are extremely long delays with PIP reviews and some members here have waited 18 months. Your current award will just continue until a decision is made on your review. You will qualify for the cost of living payment because you received a payment of PIP for 1st April 2023. Payment is due between 20th June and 4th July.0
