LCWRA & Being Self Employed

I have been receiving UC for about 18 months now. Back in March was told I had to reduce my hours at work due to osteoarthritis. My work coach helped me apply for LCWRA and advised me to apply for PIP, which I've just had both face to face appointments for- waiting on reports etc now.
(IF) I'm awarded... I'm just wondering if I can still continue to work self employed? But on very reduced hours and job duties? I have worked hard to build up my business for over 5 years now and since Feb I've had to employ staff to take over my job roles that I could no longer do due to the arthritis. I'm worried that I'm going to either be told to sell my business or something similar? Am I still allowed to earn something rather than nothing?

There's no maximum amount of hours you can work when claiming UC with LCWRA. (if found to have this) If you don't currently have the work allowance then if found to have either LCW/LCWRA then you'll be entitled to this. It means you have receive a certain amount of earnings each month before any deductions apply. If you claim for help with your rent it will be £379/month, if you don't then it will be £631/month.People claim PIP and work. However, if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming either of those then it can go against you when you're next reviewed.0

It says “if we owe you some money then you will hear from us within the next 7 days”
If she disagrees with the decision and thinks she should have been found to have LCWRA then she can request the Mandatory Reconsideration. She will need to make sure she qualifies before doing anything else. You can see the descriptors here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activity0
