Hi all,
Been a while since I've been on here as I've been quite sick..
But today I just wanted to let anyone know who's waiting in the same position as me I sent off my pip application form it was received on the 10th of may and I just had a telephone call about half an hour ago from the pip consultation center saying that they were first going to cancel my application because they didn't have any evidence but she told me not to worry is it was a mishap and a mix up and that they do have my paperwork whenever dense and that I will hear from them in a couple of weeks about an assessment and further on blimey I was surprised I had the phone call from them .. did make my heart jump that's for sure but just wanted to share this information with you all as I know the waiting game is giving us all anxiety and more. 🙏🤔

    Hello @Tina12. Sorry if I've misunderstood but are you saying they called you to say they were cancelling your PIP application because they hadn't received anything from you and then changed their mind and said they do actualy have it and you'll get an assessment date soon?

    That must have been very confusing! I hope you're not waiting too much longer for your assessment.

    Yes that's right..sorry for autocorrect 😂.. that's yes the lady said that ...then told me not to worry as ther was a mix up and they have my evidence and all the information I sent and to ignore the letter they sent out and I will be receiving a phone call or letter in two weeks about an assessment....
    ..I was like ahhhh amm what wait repeat that please as my heart just stop and skip 🥵😏.. and she told me twice not to worry ..😏

    What a rollercoaster of emotions they put you through @Tina12! I don't understand why they wouldn't check before calling you, but I'm glad it was sorted in the end.
