Problems with pip, lies, case manager said, it seems when case managers working from home don't read or care about medical evidence, gets ignored and the information he put down when he had my medical paper proven this, filled a complaint 6 weeks ago not a person contacted me the DWP is a joke

Hello there @trayg108 and thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear about what happened.

Can I just check, have you requested an MR or asked for the PIP decision to be appealed?

    Hello trayg108
Following on from what you posted on this reply on an old forum post here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/710905/#Comment_710905 and what you have said above I will try and help you.
I would like to point out that PIP is not based on a diagnosis or the level of medication you take (they do sometimes like to use this if the claimant does not explain the reasons for taking that medication) but PIP is awarded based on the level of problems you have completing the 12 PIP activities reliably (safely, repeatedly, in a timely manor and to an acceptable standard) for the majority of days.
If you did not give detailed information on your PIP2 Questionnaire form or your review form then you have another chance now once you have the desicion letter to write a detailed Mandatory Reconsideration letter. Do not start your Mandatory Reconsideration over the phone because this will start the process and you may not have time to get all of your written personal anacdotal evidence done in time. You said you sent lots of medical evidence in. If this does not say how you cannot prepare your self a simple meal relaibly then it is not much use but it could go towards confirming you have that problem and you must refer to that letter in your MR Letter.
If you need help with the descriptors and what they mean then the Government has a section on there site about what the PIP assessment means and what the assessors are looking for. It explains and outlines what "Reliably" means and it explains what the various PIP activities and descriptors mean. You can find the information here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria
If you need more information on how to fill in the application form or about the descriptors then Citizens advice have a good section on there site about filling out the PIP form and what you need to include on the forms. It also outlines and explains what the descriptors mean https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/help-with-your-claim/fill-in-form-pip/
Include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. (thank you Poppy)
You have 1 month after receiving the desicion letter to write and send off your MR letter but you have 13 months with a good reason (mental health or disability problems) to request a MR by Letter. If they refuse because it is late then you can go straight to tribunal after you have done a MR.
Remember you need to do all activities that apply to you Reliably and keep to the descriptors because they are what get you the points for an award for PIP.
If you need further help you can seek advice from your local welfare advice center which he can find by searching using your postcode in the search box from this webpage https://advicelocal.uk/welfare-benefits
    Hope that helps
