That's an awful long time to be waiting for a decision. Was this your first work capability assessment or did you have one prior to this?

The reason the extra money wasn't included in your recent statement is probably because there wasn't enough of time to include it this time because the decision was only made on 27/6. It should be included from your next statement so you will need to check to see if it is.

Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it. If there were no gaps in your fit notes then your waiting period will be Feb to May.. LCWRA starts from 29th May to 28 June and first payment will be 4th July 2019 so they owe you quite a substantial amount.

Before they pay what is owed they will need to recalculate your past statements to work out how much you've been paid against how much you should have been paid. You will then receive the difference between the two. Once that is done you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and it will then be paid into your bank.

The above advice assumes you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.

Out of curiousity what was the reason for such a long delay with the WCA?
