Successful mandatory reconsideration - some money in the bank this morning!

Lovely surprise. A backpay amount in the bank this morning. First calculations, I think I've got enhanced mobility but no daily living - if they're working from when I first made the call, 30th Jan.  If they're working from a more recent date then that works out at enhanced on both of them, but I see no reason why they would work from end of May.   I've used this calculator to get a rough idea https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/pip-payment-calculator-form

Anyway, really very happy this morning. I need to sit with my coffee and think about how to handle it well. Bits of furniture for the new place I hope.

Like many here at Scope have said, never give up. Never ever.

Great news. If this was a first time claim then it will be from the date you rang to start that claim. If you're not happy you can proceed to Tribunal.

They would warn before removing points, either before the hearing takes place or during the hearing. If it's during the hearing they will adjourn it to give you time to think about what you want to do. If you go onto to cancel the hearing you will keep your exisiting award. If you continue, you risk losing everything.
