We have lots of people who love to read in the community and I wondered how many knew about 'Stuff Your Kindle Day'?

An event that happens for 4 days throughout the year and...It's Today!!

Romance Book Worms has all the information you need, whether you have a Kindle, and iPad, an android tablet or even your phone!

It is mainly romance books that are in the offer today. The Romance Book Worms website has a huge list, but, I have noticed there are a few authors who have made their books free in other genres.

Thanks @Hannah_Scope I've had my kindle for sometime and have never heard of this although my kindle has been in the draw for a while as I've been buying books instead however I'm going to take a look.

@Wilshyboy If you like crime, a few authors have put their books or the first in a series on for free too today  

@C_J I usually prefer to buy the book but thought to store some on my iPad as I'd like to do some weekend trips here and there towards the end of the year. I am at 38 books and counting...

@Hannah_Scope yep I get that the kindle and ipads are so much easier to pack away for trips and believe me your 38 books will go up in number fast if you like book as much as I do

@C_J I've also come across some Christmas ones to save ready, up to 43 now  

I know, I'll probably end up buying half these books to have the physical copy too!

As we are just over a month away from the next 'Stuff Your Kindle' day. I wondered how many members who took part in it, have read any other books they got for free?

I just realised I've only read the one! Better hope to it and read a few more!

Has anyone managed to get some good free books? 

I managed to get Stephen King's Laurie, a couple of Christmas romances and The Borrow a Bookshop Holiday by Kiley Dunbar. Which I was actually eyeing up in The Works not long ago!
