Expected Earnings

If I started my Universal Credit claim on June 19, 2023, and reported that I am not working, but then on July 3rd, I plan on starting a new job, will updating my claim on July 3rd with my expected hours and earnings affect my Universal Credit payment? My payment is supposed to be received on the 16th of every month. Or will the payment remain the same until my employer reports my wages at the end of the month?
The worry I have is that if my expected earnings make me ineligible for Universal Credit and this affects my payment on the 16th, then I will have to wait a full month before receiving any money, as my employer pays wages on the 30th of every month.

You do a change of circumstance reporting your new job, no deductions will be taken until your new employer reports earnings to HMRC which will be after your AP has ended for the 16th July payment. After this, your claim may be £0 a month for 6 months then it'll close automatically (should you wish to leave it open).0
