Hi,

I received a letter from PIP saying my PIP has been extended while they carry on the review for another 12 months, do I need to tell universal credit that this has been extended are will they be aware as there is no change in circumstances.

I receive care element on universal credit which could be affected?

No, you don't need to tell them. I assume someone else receives the Carer's Element of UC for looking after you? If so, this will continue to be paid as normal until a decision is made on your review.
