Hi I received a notice letter on my uc account 10 days ago that I have been accepted lcwra but nothing about back payments wondering when will i receive it. I gave my first sick note on around September 2022 and was accepted 20th June 2023. I had just got given my statement today including the lcwra but got no information regarding back pay.

First payment will be either Jan or Feb 2023.The exact date will depend on what date exactly you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. What date exactly you usually receive your money each month.Money owed will be paid separately and usually takes quite a few weeks to pay it.1

I receive my uc on the 12th and I gave my first sick note on the 22rd September 2022 I haven't got my statement of back pay thought I would've received how much back pay I'm owed on my journal or post with acceptance

You only had the decision 10 days ago and it's not unusual for it to take quite a few weeks to pay what they owe. They do not tell you how much is owed when you receive the decision letter.Your waiting period will be Oct to Jan.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 6th Jan to 5th Feb and first payment is 12th Feb. This mean they owe you 5 months LCWRA element.1

Thank you for the help . I just got a call from uc saying my money is ready to be sent and they gave me a letter on journal . I'm confused on the part it says that they already gave me £1650.18 in back payment as I never received that and I just checked my statement on uc all my old statements changed higher to say I've been given lcwra when I never did is that normal thanks again for the help.0

The largest figure in that letter is what you should have received between Aug 2022 and June 2023. They've already paid you £1,650.18, which is what you received from your UC payments between that date. The remaining figure of £2,301.46 is what they owe you now because it's the difference between what you should have been paid and what you've already been paid.Yes, the new statements have now replaced the old ones. You will receive £2,301.46 into your bank.My calculations based on the information you gave was they owed you 5 months LCWRA but the amount they owe you indicates it's more than 5 months and more like 6 months.1

There is a typing error in their letter. They appear to mean they paid you £1650.18 from 4th August 2022 to 3rd June 2022. You need to add up the amount you received over those 10 months.1

I missed that because in the first paragraph the dates say Aug 2022 to June 2023 and didn't even look at the date years in the 2nd one.

Thank for the help sorry for all the questions. I know i will recive the £2,301.46 in the bank but im still a little confused about the £1650.18 from 4th August 2022 to 3rd June 2023 I never received this. Is this supposed to be the total of my normal uc payments that have been given from the 4th August to 3rd June.0

265.31 normal uc payments (without deductions)0

265.31 is what I received every month. Now my old statements include the lcwra but I didn't actually receive that in my bank n0

So you did receive payments between the dates stated in the letter because it’s the total amount you received during the period of time.Without knowing the exact amount you received each month it’s extremely difficult to work out the exact amount. The £1,650 they said you received seems correct to me.They owe you the difference between the 2 payments.1

Sorry for confusion i normally receive £265.31 but £39.80 is deducted for debt so the total is £225.51 every month also I don't pay landlord I live with mum. so is that 1650 just the total of normal uc payment that I received over the months or am I missing something sorry for all the questions0

You could ask them to explain to you the £1650.18 figure. If they have been a made a mistake and overpay you then you will have to pay them back.0
-
The £1,650 is the total amount of money you've received from UC in that timescale.
