I'd love to hear about what pets you all have? Or if you don't have a pet maybe one that you would most like to have!
I'll start I've got 2 kitties, both adopted from a rescue. The first is a Tabby, called Trouble, who is a very shy little angel. He is a very handsome distinguished gentleman and is about 6 years old.
The second is an orange siamese cross called Tango who is chaos in cat form. He's younger (about 4 years old) and we have had him for 2 years now. We were his 6th home!! He's very talkative and really like bringing home his own pets which he then let's loose in the house! Like I said he's chaos.
Now please tell me about your animal friends!

Your cats sound lovely, i do love cats! I have a cat too, his name is Alfie. Had him since he was 7 weeks old and he's just had his 10th birthday.He's a siamese but pure white, with 2 beautiful blue eyes, quite rare to find cats like this. He's an indoor cat and my baby. He's also very talkative and will happily answer me (in his own way) when i ask him questions lol. Will give you kisses if you ask him. He's so sweet but umm quite large lol.1

Hi I have a dachund x pug called lady my daughter picked who is naughty! Lol 😂 my baby belle (brindle coloured retired greyhound) passed away as she got sick cancer and liver failure, and that broke my heart I cried for weeks afterwards! My daughter also has a hamster and fish in a pond but I’ve told her once they go on the areoplane there won’t be any more as I’m struggling cleaning them out and I do it every couple of months as fish in pond outside and hamster called pompom n he’s a big grey fluff ball in a massive cage that stops it from smelling for months which I’m glad of tbh x1

Ohhh your Alfie sounds beautiful Poppy. It is so super rare for a pure white cat with blue eyes! And ever rarer for them not to be deaf but I'm assuming yours is hearing since he answers you! Siamese kitties do love to chat.
@kay87 I'm so sorry to hear about Belle ! I lost Troubles brother, Toil, a few years ago and still miss him so much. It's so heartbreaking when our babies go to the rainbow bridge. It sounds like Lady keeps you busy and entertained though haha0 -
Thank you! Thankfully he’s not deaf and has extremely good hearing.0

An unintentional pet ... son goes to Sweden for a months barbershop experience, so we babysit a 8 week old puppy ... informs us over the weekend he's staying another week, then moving home from Liverpool to open a shop with a friend.
What became an inconvenience has become Ruudy being part of the family. Destroying the house to take things outside, arms in bits but seeing him dance to music ... all is good then

Oh @Hannah_Scope she is so beautiful! I bet she keeps you busy if she has as much energy as collies usually do
@WelshBlue oh goodness! I'm sorry you got an unplanned pet but he is just so adorable, you couldn't be mad at that little face!2 -
My babies during a VERY rare moment of getting along with each other5

I have 2 adorable cats, who also drive me crazy. They are brother and sister Harry and Luna. They are 6 now and I got them at 12 weeks from a lovely lady who had surprise kittens after her 2 cats wandered off for a while when she moved. They may be crazy cats who keep me up at night for cuddles but they are amazing for boosting my mental health and giving unconditional love- when they decide to of course!5

Loving reading about all of your pets 🧡
We have a 16 year old Jack Russell x Miniature Schnauzer.... We think! She was sold to us as a purebred Jack Russell, but once her tail started growing, we knew she was a x-breed!
She's an absolute monkey, but we wouldn't have her any uther way 😍 she's a proper girly girl - her favourite shop is Pets at Home! She loves going on caravan holidays and her favourite thing is her treat tray!

@hazelj73 Awww your kitties sound lovely. They're definitely a great mental health boost ❤️
@66Mustang what a beautiful baby!
@kay87 Awww lady is adorable and Belle looks like a gentlelady!
Oh my gosh @CountryMimi she looks like she loves getting into mischief! What a cutie1 -
Some beautiful cats and dogs posted here. Made me smile
Currently having a running battle with Ruuudy ... he says digging the front lawn is allowed ... I'm saying most definitely not. The bricks filling the holes says he's winning ...

@DayDreamBeliever
She was such a little monkey last night - we took her out in the car but her seat belt clip seems a bit too long and at first she was accidentally falling into the footwell, so kept having to pull over and mum had to get her back up on to the seat, but then she definitely started jumping down 🙈
I think we have another clip somewhere, so I'm gonna swap it as she never used to be able to do that with the old one. Either that or I might get her a booster seat. Shorty loves looking out the window 😍
Don't know if you watch coronation street, but she looks like Roy / Evelyn's new dog Freddie when her fur is longer 😍🥰

hi, i have aditional needs cat, he is called Mr Shadow and i got him from the sanctuary when he was 2 and a half.i had comunicated to them,do you have any cats that have been in their pen for a very long time (eg,due to age/adintional needs/disabilities/illnesses/being feral/medication needs etc.....)the sanctuary manager led me to a long termer called shadow and i went into his pen,he was a little bit scared so i sat down,didnt interact and waited. less than five minutes he was curled up on my knee asleep,and when he woke up he was purring.in fact it makes me really sad when i think back as the home he came from was seriously abusive,but he put his trust in me.they told me he will be on medication for life,he was bald every where apart from his head and his imune system is to high so that it causes alergic type reactions to everything. they said he woud have to be on a med called 'atopica', so many bad side efects it caused, so they put him on half an anti histamine pill,and he had a massive seizure on my knee (anti histamines can lower the seizure threshold in cats),next.i asked emailed my cousin whose a vet about atopica as id read cats can be prescribed the doggy version off label.thankfuly mr shadows old vet prescribed him doggy atopica which is supposed to be beefy i think, the cat version anyway smells like redbull but a million times more chemicaly-no wonder they dont like it.mr shadow hated atopica full stop so i took him to a emergency skin specialist (partly as its the only vet that woud fit my wheelchair, the other vets doors only fitted 18inch or under seat without camber- whereas my quickie neon 2 is a 19 inch seat with camber.-the bill was over £500 as tested him for everything and it came down to being a condition called feline prirutius, i had a feeling this was anxiety related as i have 3 staff a day (morning shift, evening shift and waking night shift) and theres people coming in and out constantly so this will no dout efect him when it afects me.but to this day,hes now on no medication,he only gets stereoids now and again for flare ups, he wont touch hypoallergenic dry food, weve tried him with all the expensive ones and the cheap ones, he still prefers his mcdonalds equivilentr whiskers biccies (he hates wet food, he plays with it but wont eat it).hes 8 years old now,has a catio made by his grandad,he never makes a noise-no mewing and he thinks hes a big boy showboating in front of other cats who come up to the catio. ive nicknamed one of the toms sir meowington,as he does an awful lot of meowing.1

@CATP aww it's lovely that you wanted to take home an animal that others would look over like that! It's so sad to think about animals staying in shelters for years 😢
Your kitty is very handsome! And sounds like he knows what he likes and doesn't like!0 -
Mr Shadow is looking very lovely indeed @CATP, what a happy cat! Thank you for sharing his story, I'm so glad he's living happily, and you both look after each other now0

We have had rescue cats for 30 years - the last two died (both aged 21) - last November and the previous November !!It was so heartbreaking when we lost them - we both agreed not to replace them...
