I'm a pretty anxiety filled person so I apologize if these are simple questions or I can find them online but I thought I'd ask people who've probably experienced this.
I just got my PIP message today after making my claim in October. I'm absolutely over the moon about that and so so happy I just hope I don't get an apology letter saying they made a mistake or something. My questions are:
When approximately will my PIP payment come through? I'm just not gonna get my hopes up if it's a week or month away.
Will I get my backpayment, hopefully that's the right term, in my first payment or will that come later?
When I do get my back payment will the £150 cost of living be included in that because I started my claim before that was given out and I think PIP was a part of that (Apologies if I'm wrong there) or am I just not going to get that because I wasn't recieving pip in that time.
Sorry about the long post, Hopefully I've explained things well and thank you.

I am not clear what you are hoping an apology for. It is common for PIP claims to take up to 10 months (however satisfactory that is).
If you have been told by DWP that PIP has been awarded you should receiving the arrears payment within a few days. The regular payments are made at 4 weeks intervals. Thedecision letter will inform you of the payment dates. The CoL payments are dealt with a separate section.0 -
Money owed will be paid first and will go into your bank 3 - 5 working days after payment was sent. It's unlikely that the text you received was in error.Providing you had the difficulties for at least 3 months when you first applied then it's paid from the date you rang to start your claim. You will receive the decision letter within the next couple of weeks. That will give you details of when to expect your first 4 weekly payment, what you've been awarded and how long your award is for.You can also ring PIP tomorrow and ask what you've been awarded and when to expect the money into your bank and they will tell you.0

I was going to ask the same questions, I called them this morning and was told by automated message the amount of the award and the payment date, I held for 45 minutes but had an episode so had to disconnect before I spoke to someone. I received my text on Monday so not sure if I will get any back pay before the 1st payment due (28th) i actually feel quite anxious about it all0
