Text confusion

in Start here and say hello!
Hi all, I received multiple txt msgs from dwp stating 
23.06.23 - received your report (telephone assessment I assume)

02.07.23 - you have been awarded pip.

I've called the automated line and my next payday is the 28th of this month.

So my question is, Any idea when I'll receive my backdated monies if any, I sort of thought it would be today but I was wrong. 

Any one else been in the same predicament?  Could you share your experience please. Thanks

    It takes 3-5 working days for money owed to go into your bank from the date it was paid. It should be there by the end of the week.

    You can ring PIP to ask what your award is and when to expect payment into your bank and they will tell you. Only they can tell you exactly when you'll receive it.
