I'm in the lcw part of uc since Oct 2022 I've just made a claim for new style esa is this possible

You will not be financially better off by claiming this because it's deducted in full from any UC entitlement. If you've paid the correct amount of NI contributions in the previosu 2 tax years then you'll be entitled to payments. It's paid for one year because of your LCW award for UC, which is equivelant to ESA WRAG.
