PIP Assessor Report Received - Wow!

Hi everyone,
I had my PIP telephone assessment on Monday with IAS (assessor is a paramedic and was very nice), report was sent to DWP an hour later and I requested it almost immediately. I’ve received all 24 pages of it in the post today and to say I’m surprised is any understatement. It’s mostly very accurate expect she said I was positive when I cried almost the entire time lol. She has recommended 9 points for Daily Living and 12 for Mobility. I genuinely was expecting nothing but think I’m lacking 3 points in daily which would take me up to enhanced - just! Can I be confident the DWP case manager will go along with this? Does anyone know the current timescale between the report and decision? I don’t think I’ll push for more if that’s what I get because there’s some areas where I’ve been given more points than expected and don’t want to risk losing them. Feeling really positive for a change, this will be life changing for me if it stays as is.

It’s not taking 12 weeks though atm is it? I thought I’d have some real examples 😅. I can’t tell how long things are taking on here cos there’s no dates or anything

Yes up to 12 weeks after the report was returned.
I don’t know what you mean by real examples.

But people on here are saying 2/3/4/5 weeks even the PIP lady said 2 weeks I don’t think I’ve read anyone saying 12 weeks even though it’s ‘upto’. I just wanted to know how long it took from people from having their assessment to getting their payment/decision that was all.

We say up to 12 weeks. Yes, some have decisions in a couple of weeks, some 3,4,5 and some more than 12 weeks. Timescales are just a guide and nothing more.

You can read through many many different threads and you will see the advice given is up to 12 weeks. There are some threads where members have given their timescales but i can't see how that could help because everyones case is different.
