Received text message 4th July to say no decision has been made yet and they will write to me when they have .. No need to contact them unless circumstance changes … how long have people waited for a decision after that text message

Have you had an assessment?0

Yes I had a telephone assessment on the 20th June0

Some have a decision quite soon and others wait longer. There's really no timescales after that text, it's a standard text.

Ok will get a text message once a decision has been made or will it come in a letter … it’s first time I’ve applied for it and to be honest I don’t think I’ve done enough … I don’t like taking more than I think I’m allowed so applying for pip has been a massive deal for me and my anxiety is through the roof x0

If awarded you may receive a text. They do not send texts for refusals. You will still receive the decision letter what ever the outcome.

@shelby40 I'm so sorry, maybe pop your phone on silent for a bit? Unless you are on call for someone, just to try and keep your mind off it.
We have so many members here go through the same and it isn't nice to see. The process needs some serious changes. I'm glad to hear you had a phone assessment though, I always found from reading others process's that being in the comfort of your own home helps. Did you have someone with you when you went through the assessment?0
