You need to make sure it’s relevant information you’ve given. They don’t need to know your life story.

Also include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you.

Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

Don’t forget to get proof of posting, it’s free from any post office.

You don’t need to pay for next day delivery because it still has to go through the same Mail sorting process as all other post going to DWP. It doesn’t mean it will arrive the next day.

Hwya @cheekylittlekoala, there's a lot of information on the Scope page regarding prep for PIP assessments, but my main piece of advice is try not to get too stressed about it!  Easier said than done I know.

I'm sorry if this is too late but I wish you the best of luck @cheekylittlekoala, I know it's stressful but once it's done you don't have to do another assessment for a long time.

If you get PIP does it effect your Housing Element of UC and Council Tax?

Not in a bad way. Whether it does will depend on your circumstances. For housing element it will depend if you're single, under 35, privately renting and what PIP award you have.

For CTR then there's some information here. https://www.gov.uk/council-tax/discounts-for-disabled-people

I had to change my PIP Assessment due to having a Panic Attack just before they called (Back in October). I had it on 16th Jan 24 and i tried to explain everything in full sentences and not just yes and no. I did have to ask her to repeat some questions as i didn't understand what she was asking. She seemed very sympathetic and compassionate but that doesn't mean anything.

What should i expect now? She did say that DWP would get back to me within 8 weeks.

    Kind regards

The report will be written and returned to DWP. From there a decision can take up to 12 weeks, rather than the 8 you were told.

Once a decision is made you will be contacted. All you can do now is wait.

I called PIP and asked for a copy of my report and the lady i spoke to said it was 23 pages.

Is a report meant to have that many pages?

    Thank you

Yes, perfectly normal for it to be that many pages.

When the DWP receive report from Health Profession what percentage do they agree with him/her.

My report arrived today from PIP and it seems very positive for me but worry that DWP will disagree because it goes in my favour.

    Kind regards

There's no stats for this. Mostly they go with it but it has been known for them to go against it but it's rare.
