PIP and the Channel Islands

I was hoping that I might be able to ask for some advice. I currently claim pip for my two children. However this summer they will be moving to Jersey the Channel Islands to live with their father however I will remain in England the children will come back to England every holiday. I know that I will need to inform the DWP that they will be moving. The claim is also up for renewal in October.
So what I’d like to find out is will I still be able to claim pip for them and is it worth renewing their claims?
The money we receive is invaluable to us as it pays for assistive technology as these get lost or broken quite often, frequent replacements of uniform, uniform without seams and labels and educational support. These are things I’d like to be able to continue to proved my children with but will be unable to if the payments stop.

As they will no longer be living with you then their PIP will stop if they move in with their father because they will be moving abroad. If you're claiming carers allowance for looking after either of them then this will also stop. Including any other benefits you maybe claiming for them because they will no longer be living with you.0

Says that Channel Islands have social security agreements with UK. However I don't know what that means and I can't find any information.0 -
Poppy the big debate is, is jersey classed as abroad? It’s part of the uk not England but the uk.0

Channel Islands are not part of the UK. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18175986

Basically saying they have something there buts it's not pip so I would imagine it would be lost
Also I could be wrong on this but benefits aren't classed on being in the UK. They are classed as being in Great Britian. So if you move out and dont move to either England, Scotland or Wales.. then you would need to apply for the benefits in that area.1 -
The Channel Islands along with the UK, Isle of Man and Ireland all form as part of the Common Travel Area, this means that as a British or Irish Citizen you have full rights to live in each different place with no restrictions. You have full rights to access benefits in the area you choose to live in.See: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/common-travel-area-guidance/common-travel-area-guidance#accessing-social-security-benefits-in-the-cta
And: https://www.gov.uk/uk-benefits-abroad
After making the selections of Jersey and moving permanently abroad, it says you’re not entitled to PIP. You will need to claim benefits in Jersey instead.0 -

They do have a benefit called Income Support which includes an amount for disability and children: https://www.gov.je/Benefits/IncomeSupport/Pages/Components.aspxI would like to advise further but as I’m sure you guessed, all these systems are complex and I can’t see myself moving to Jersey any time soon!1
