Hi @buffy1991 yes there are people that do Crochet on the group you can see some great pictures of some work they have done on the Kaleidoscope post.

What's sort of Crochet do you do yourself?

@buffy1991 good for you I often like learning or trying something new and crocheting is something you don't hear much off anymore.

Hope it goes well when you give it a try.

@c-j thankyou. I have a look in the kalediosscope thread. I have bought like a magazine on it and a beginners kit but it’s knowing where to start. It looks very complicated.

@buffy1991 I'm sure some of the members on here that do Crochet will be more happy to give you some advice. Don't know if it will help you I think there's also video clips on YouTube

I tried knitting once and just couldn't get the hang of it more holes than knitting

@c-j thankyou I’m also going to try and do card making for like someone birthday and Christmas and that. I bought a few things over the weekend and on eBay to make cards

@buffy1991 Sounds good it gives cards and things a more personal touch and will mean that bit more to the person receiving them knowing they have been hand made plus you get to enjoy being creative and seeing people's reactions when they open them. People tend to keep things like that. Good luck and enjoy being creative.

    Hello @buffy1991

Welcome to the community! :) How are you today?

Just to let you know, I merged your two posts on crocheting together so it's all in one place for you. If you a more of a visual learner, you may find YouTube a great source of help like CJ suggested.

I can't wait to see what you make!

@buffy1991 If a member accidentally makes more than one thread on the same topic, the admins will 'merge' them all in to one discussion so it saves confusion for you and for others too.

As BG844 said, your post went up twice. So I merged for you to have all comments from members in one place :)

Hi, I can crochet. Don't do so much because I am struggling with my hands at the moment, but happy to help with any advice you need. I can also point you towards the you tube tutorials  I used to learn xx

Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can! Once you master the basic stitches then you can make anything. It's not like knitting where you have loads of stitches on your needle, you only have one. The you tube videos really help. Do you want me to send you some links? Xx
