Where to start with crocheting

Hi, I can't for the life of me work out how to put a link on here. So I would suggest as a start you Google 'easy granny square ' There are two types of crochet. The first is going round and round which is the easiest ie granny squares. The second is side to side which once you have mastered the stitches you can move on to. The stitches are the same for both.
Get yourself a cheap ball of wool and a size 4 crochet hook and let me know how you get on. Any questions give me a shout xxc
