Hi I'm new here when will I get my first payment. I gave my first fit not to the job centre on the 8/03/2023 and another one on 8/06/2023. Iv done my health assesment and today 19/07/2023 they've found me to not be fit for work and put me onto lcwra. Decision was made today. So not understanding it all to well as I struggle to understand a lot of things also sorry if this message is not well thought out

Your first payment will be either July or August. The exact date it's paid from will depend on what date you usually receive your payment each month. The LCWRA element isn't paid at all during the waiting period, which is 3 full assessment periods and it's then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note.0

Hi, thank you for your response. The 9th of each month is when I normally get universal credit paid into my bank account so it will be most probably August?0

Assuming that 8th March was the same date you reported your health condition then yes first payment will be 9th August. No LCWRA element is owed.

Thank you sorry I'm pretty bad with talking with other people etc and my wording isn't really good. I struggle to understand most things. But yeah thank you very much I didn't think I was owed anything from them it was more about first payment etc and does it go with my universal credit payment. Ince again thank you for your response0

LCWRA is part of UC and will increase your maximum entitlement by £390.06/month.0
