I would like to share my experience of telephone assessment
1. They recorded it, said it was new thing and sent me a link.
2. I put alot of detail i my application and was told because of this they did not have to go into detail on some descriptors. So important if you are like me and get tongue tied write alot down on your application, it a must.
3. Asked about example or mixing and going out.
4. Asked about medications and consultant appointments in detail.
5. Definitely looked for contradictions, this was clear from questioning.
6. Assessment was over an hour and delved quite deep.
Now its over I am wondering if anyone can tell me how and when to get a copy of the report please?

You need to ring PIP for a copy of the report.
Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Telephone: 0800 121 4433
Textphone: 0800 121 4493
Relay UK (if you cannot hear or speak on the phone): 18001 then 0800 121 4433
British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmDo be aware though that the report is a recommendation only, it's not the decision. Whislt they mostly go with it, they have been known to go against it. Requesting the report has been known to cause a lot more needless anxiety, if it it's in your favour.

Thanks for sharing your experience @luuluu11, it's really helpful when members do this so others can get an idea of what to expect.
It's interesting that they recorded the assessment. Can I ask how they sent you a link to the recording and did they ask your permission to record it?
Best of luck with the outcome. I hope you're not waiting too long and that it's good news.1 -
Hi Adrian I had asked before the assessment for it to be recorded, so at the start the assessor said he would set it up and it took afew minutes. Shortly after the assessment I got an email link that required me to put a code in to access. The code should arrive by SMS text but never did. I rang capita 3 times so far and still no code so not able to listen to recording also told assessment gone for audit so will be delay in report by 2 weeks. I’m thinking to formally complain if recording access not sorted soon?1
