Hi I was I scored 8 points on my assessment but was turned down for pip , I argued that the assessor had left things out and manipulated my answers , called the helpline today and was told a decision had been made on Monday but they couldn't see what it was , I haven't had a text or anything, I can't sleep because I'm worried I have een turned down , if I have not had a text is that a bad sign

It takes up to 24 hours for the decision to show on the system after it's been made. Not everyone receives a text with the decision. 8 points indicates a standard award, unless the recommended points were a mixture of daily living and mobility. Points for those are added up individually and not together.Once you know what the decision is if you're not happy you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration.I will advise though that arguing with what was said in the report isn't going to get you a PIP award. If you do need to go down the MR route then it's fine to point out a couple of obvious errors but then put the report to one side and forget about it. Concentrate on where and why you think you should have scored those points.0
