Hey all,

I'm new here and hoping I can gain something from this forum although I have no idea what.

A little about myself, I'm a mum with two children, 7 & 20 years old. My oldest is transgender and my youngest is possibly on the spectrum, although we're battling the school for a referral for her at present.

I work two part time jobs and my partner works full time.

I'm just feeling really run down lately, I'm constantly tired and fed up, I can't focus on anything properly, I'm always stressed and snappy. Either sleep to much or not enough.
Mentally and emotionally I feel drained, everything from work to my kids feels like a constant battle.

I work term time only in one job so my youngest has had to go with me to work at my other job, due to her anxiety and social difficulties it's almost impossible to put her into a child care during the holidays so she's been spending 6 hour days with me, which I don't mind but it's challenging.
I don't dislike my jobs to a degree but my term time job, I feel like the underdog, you never get a thanks or appreciation for anything but as soon as something goes wrong it's my fault despite it not being part of my area, usually I'm not involved. My second job is just so disorganized, trying to arrange hours of work etc. It's also been a pain with childcare for my youngest after school due to her problems.

My oldest has been having difficulties at his job with discrimination.

Bills keep piling up and nothing seems to get financially easier.

If you got this far thank you 🙏🏻

    Hello @MissHollz

    Welcome to the community! :)

I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling so run down lately. Can I ask, do you have any family or friend support around you? I'm sorry work isn't going well for you either. Have you tried speaking to your boss about establishing a plan?

With your oldest, have they spoke to HR about the discrimination? Or are they part of a union they can speak to?
