My friend has called THE DWP and was told that she will have review of her ESA in SEPTEMBER. SHE IS on income related and her last review was a few years ago but 8 years ago. How is this possible. Will they still extend her claim?

Her review was less than 8 years ago, it was in 20180

When you ring ESA they will give you a timescale of when you're due a review but this doesn't mean you'll actually receive the forms at that time. This is one of the reasons you shouldn't ring them because what they tell you is only ever a guide. Support Group is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise. It's very unlikely they will be contact at this time. They are suspended for most people.0
