Hiya! I had my PIP tribunal on the 10th July 2023 and I won both standard daily living + mobility.
I missed a call on friday as i was in the bath, the call was from the DWP as they text me asking to call back that day. So, i called them back immediately when i was done in the bath. The lady asked questions like if i had been abroad, in hospital or in prison since my claim was made and to confirm my payment details.
She then goes on to say that i’ll be receiving a letter and if i wanted my payment in 1 full sum or broken up.
My backdated pay should be from 10th October 2022 according to my decision letter
question is, does this mean i’m going to be getting my backpay soon? And will my regular payments start too?

I have to say it was a huge relief when i learned i won as it really felt like i wasnt listened to. I have PCOS, Depression, anxiety (general, social and ptsd), hyperhydrosis and sadly obesity due to PCOS symptoms. The process was mentally draining and so glad its over. Ive been reading many stories and was so glad to finally be heard. I never had this issue with my work capability assessment with UC so it really was a painful process!

Payment will be in your bank 3-5 working days after it was sent. Money owed will be received first. Then you will receive the decision letter from DWP. About 3-4 after you received the money you were owed you'll receive your first 4 weekly payment. The decision letter will give you more details.

Those are the questions they always ask after a Tribunal win. If you want to know if payment has been sent you will need to ring PIP to ask. They don't always send payment as soon as they ask those questions.
