The waiting really is awful
Can I just say it's very wholesome and heart-warming though seeing you both thinking of each other and staying in touch. It's lovely to see evidence that we bring people together and help them support each other.
I so hope both of you will soon get your answers and have to wait no more.0 -
Jimmy, thank you so much for your kind words they made a huge difference to my day. Talking to Chucky1 is really special. No matter what happens in my case I will fight my corner. But I truly hope that Chucky1 gets the outcome that she and her husband deserve. I wait for the message that it is over and her husband has been awarded and I will celebrate that news.1

Oh thank you Jimmy

Welcome to our little "waiting for a response ' group
You should in theory receive something first as you sent your form back before Chucky1 and myself 😆 So look forward to hearing when you get something.0 -
I’m in the Northumberland but have a Cumbrian postcode0

Hi perdita we are OK the wait is causing anxiety we still haven't heard anything the thing Is if they decide to do a paper assessment we won't know?
Hope you're OK0 -
@Chucky1
I am as well as possible under the circumstances. Don't worry if it is paper based the will still write to you to let you know the outcome.
I am still thinking that I will need an assessment. I have had several PIP paper based decisions but never ESA. So thinking probably at least another 3 months of this arrrrgh 😆 keep strong and keep in touch xx0 -
Im keeping everything crossed for you lot in here! I remember the wait oh so well. If I had hair, I probably would've been tearing it out at the time.0

Any update @chucky1and @steve69? I still haven't heard anything. Hope you have 😆0

Yes it is, starting to think that they have forgotten us (no such luck I suppose). You would think as we were part of the "chosen few" to restart the review process that they would have been in a position to get through them reasonably quickly. It appears not. Hope you are keeping as well as possible @Chucky1.
@Albus_Scope you need to uncross everything before you do yourself some damage 😆 🤣 but thanks for thinking about us.2 -
I’m still waiting!
Tempted to ring them…but don’t want to disturb them if they’re on their break!0 -
Is it an assessment you’re waiting for or the actual forms itself? If it’s the latter then I’d advise not to ring because it’s not going to help in my opinion. Timescales are only ever a guide anyway.steve69 said:I’m still waiting!

Hi @steve69. I am still waiting too. Though when I checked my NHS app last night to have a look at some recent blood test results, it would appear that they have contacted my GP. The GP had sent a letter back to them on the 9/10/23. Not sure if it is good or bad seeing the Doctors don't really know me as I only moved here last year lol 🙃 But nothing I can do about it. It is what it is. Agree with Poppy no point in ringing them even though the wait is tormenting.0

Its a reassessment Poppy.
Hi Perdita.
Waiting game!
They too have written to Drs too.
Perhaps they’ll realise that I’m a bit poorly!
