Hi, @Jram46, @chucky1 and @Albus_Scope. Thanks for all your kind replies. The date was offered to me but went into a bit of a blind panic and just said okay.
Since sending off my form I have been diagnosed with having a growth on my adrenal gland. Apparently it is making too much hormone and causing high blood pressure and anxiety. I am currently engaged in ritualistic behaviour which is very alien to me. I have to have my third scan soon as the two previous ones haven't been clear as to its particular type and I have an appointment with a surgeon to discuss surgery. So I am not sure how well I will cope with this phone call. I send heartfelt love to all those dealing with depression and anxiety on a daily basis as I know mine is only temporary and will go after surgery. Much love to you all xx1 -
Oh perdita I'm so sorry to hear that i really hope you will get some relief soon its stress you can do without sending you a hug x0

Hi perdita hope you're ok hope your call went OK was thinking about you x0

Hi @chucky1, that is so sweet and much appreciated. I should have told you earlier but I haven't been too good. I rang them a week ago as I can't hear particularly well on the phone (especially if it is a long one and the assessor has an accent or speaks fast) and requested a face to face appointment. So back to the waiting game. I was very anxious about a phone appointment. They had promised to ring on the landline but when the letter arrived it was my mobile, which cuts in and out due to the signal here.
I take it that you still haven't heard anything?
Much love to you and your husband and I hope that you have a peaceful and lovely Christmas xxx0 -

Hi yes he was offered a face to face but changed it to a phone one its on the 12th of March he's very scared and nervous1
-
Awww bless him. Totally understand and it will be a tense couple of weeks for you both. It brings it all to a head once you receive the letter doesn't it? He will be fine I am sure and if you want to chat I am always here.
On a lighter note I wonder if they will give me his face to face appointment 🤔 😆
Lots of hugs xxx
