nice one @66Mustang -fantastic BHP.i can only honestly say ive touched the famed john cooper works version in FORZA horizon 5 (i always wondered why they never included SEAT cars,which naturaly have a higher BHP).i finaly decided on my new new car as well-im getting a dacia duster bi fuel, im not allowed to drive anyway but its **** horse power,ive got to get a 1 litre engine in case i get any staff who are under 25.i hope you made use of the grant from motability towards the advance payment, the £750 will take almost all the AP off mine.0

@CATP yeah that makes sense about having staff under 25 as they restrict young drivers to lower power cars. At least as the passenger you only need to worry about comfort and smoothness, who cares if it's not fun to drive as you aren't driving it! That said, I have a friend who has a Duster and it's a pretty nice motor, not bad to drive at all.
The advance payment was quite high for the JCW but I am fortunate in that I have a grandparent who very kindly is funding it for me, this means the £750 is mine to spend on petrol or whatever I want. Maybe a gift for my grandparent.
Thanks!1 -
Congrats on the car Mustang! Looks very nice. I, admittedly, am not a huge car person but I am glad you're happy0

Thanks @Jimm_Scope0

Just an update.
I don't have the car, it's delayed.
I do have a Mini Cooper S to drive until the JCW is ready, so it's very much a "first world problem".
Still so excited and will update with pics of the new car as soon as I take delivery!!!1 -
good for you @66Mustang, looks like a decent motor, sorry there's been a delay, hopefully you will be be wizzing round soon, enjoy!1
-
That's a disappointment, @66Mustang, having to keep a cap on your full on excitement. At least you have a decent stand in whilst you wait. Car deliveries are slow ATM, seems they're having trouble across the board in getting the computer chips. That's the trouble with tech, expensive to fix too. If I ever get around to getting another car, think I'll go for an old mechanical.Anyway, hope you're soon sat behind the wheel of your new motor.1

I think the waiting is always the worst and even more so when the delay keeps increasing. Hopefully you’ll be sat behind that wheel very soon! Please do share some pictures when you do have it!1

Thanks all, will definitely share pics!!0

Have to say though Motability is a fantastic company and I can't fault them. I get to keep driving my current car until the new one arrives so I really don't have an issue with waiting.1

@66Mustang
I hope you’re not waiting too long, but as you say at least you still have your other car to drive till the new one is ready.
I can’t wait to see the photos.And a spin in it off course 😂1 -
It will be worth the wait @66Mustang will you treat yourself to some new car things when you get the car.1
-
Very nice car @66Mustang wish you all the best with it.
Really would like If i could get a license and start driving. I just get so anxious when in the learning car.1 -
@Lou67 thank you
@C_J I'd love to be able to treat the car to a load of shampoo and other cleaning products and start to wash the car every week as a hobby. Sadly we don't have a driveway so my car is parked out on the street and I feel really awkward doing it. If I had a private area to wash it I think I would make a hobby of it and become a bit obsessed about it
@life would you feel easier learning with a family member, if you have one who is able and willing, rather than an instructor?3
