HI, out of nowhere I got today £150 payment, it says PIP. Very nice surprise, I am just wondering what is it? I just got my normal payment, so it is not that. Tried to google it, but couldn't find anything.

Seems like it's the Cost of living payment. If you applied for PIP on or before 1st April 2023 then this would entitle you to this payment. Full details here. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment#disability-cost-of-living-payment

Thank you, yeah, I thought about it, but when I read about it it said it will be paid until 23rd of July, so I thought I won't get it. Well, nice surprise, and very helpful!!!!1

"paid until 23rd July" wasn't the criteria. It was paid between 20th June and 4th July. For those that became entitled to it at a later date will receive it after that date, like yourself. It's just a one off payment.

Thanks for asking this, as im in the same boat. I checked my bank account and it just said DWP PIP, and not DWP COL like it did on my mothers account. Like you I googled it with no explanation. I received PIP at the end of March. Thanks put my mind at ease lol0
