I got this text message from PIP exactly a week ago today, I’m wondering if this means they’ll be getting round to looking at my review soon?
They’ve had the form and care plan with them for just over 3 months now — since May.
Hopefully there’ll be no need for a face to face meeting with someone who they call a “health professional”. I bet a lot of those people don’t understand the health conditions of the claimants they see. I’d like to think the review form and care plan they got will be enough to make a quicker but “correct” decision.

Stupid that we have to tell these idiots at the DWP that we’re still the same person, it’s an awful system. Someone with autism, like me, won’t improve. Autism doesn’t go away. They even ask people with dementia if they’re still the same! That doesn’t get better or go away, in fact it gets worse!I’m hoping I’ll get the same rates for both components - enhanced - and a longer time award. Should be more than the 4 years from the first time.1

They like to put claimants through deliberate stress in order to get what they know they’re entitled to — the DWP know what they’re doing sadly! The folk of no care/consideration.0

We have some members that had the text way back in December 2022 and still continue to wait. Some that had that text with and an appointment for an assessment shortly after. There are very long delays for a lot of people for reviews.

A stupid, stupid system. But with this government can we be surprised?0

My award goes to March 13rd 2024, so obviously just under 7 months. If those so-called people at PIP still haven’t come to their decision by then, will the award be automatically extended? It is out of the claimant’s control how long those idiots at the DWP take, there’s not a thing claimants can do to speed it up0

There’s nothing a claimant can do to get their stuff looked at any quicker, it’ll just be in a huge pile 🙄 and there won’t be enough decision makers around to get through everyone’s stuff 🙄. Reviews are stupid anyway for those that just won’t change/get better, I have my thoughts on them.0

Ss sarcastic as it sounds. If I had a review and they asked if my condition has got better. I'd probably write back saying all my 4 spinal compression fractures are all brand new now and I bought them from....Amazon!!! Idiots!!! Lol lol lol.0
