Thank you so much Hannah and Diane 😊
My husband is going to help me with the tribunal form . I think so many people give up at this stage. I have been awarded 6 points on the daily living and I know I should have at the very least 8 and 4 on the Mobility , however supporting evidence letters sent with the MR referral have not been taken into consideration and there is a contradiction in the MR Assessors report .
Will keep you both posted on progress .
In the meantime Diane keeping everything crossed for your husband 🤞.
Love Julie Anne 💕🧡 -

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Ok Poppy thank you , unfortunately as you can see I am not the expert, I am just looking for some support.

There's no experts that post on the forum as far as i'm aware. There are some people that do know and understand more than others though. One thing there is always plenty of here, is support.

How are you getting on with the tribunal application @JulieAnne11?Community Manager

Hi Adrian 😊.... We found it quite user friendly to be honest (my husband and I did it together) . I attached relevant correspondence and Drs records and a letter from my husband as supporting evidence. I also signed up for the text and email update service . Just have to sit tight now and wait to hear when the tribunal will be I gave requested face to face .

I've read and learned a lot from your expertise and you appear to have more knowledge than people who work in the benefits office.

No, i'm not an expert but have learnt a lot over the past several years from many others that have been a member here and from my own personal experience. I won't comment on those that work for DWPI'm not perfect (who is?) and i do still get things wrong sometimes but i always try my hardest to give all the correct information to the best of my knowledge. Providing links as proof where possible too, as i think this is most important.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. Good luck in the tribunal!
Also, wish I had Poppy's knowledge of benefits.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

Hi Diane ❤️.... So sorry it's gone to Tribunal for your Husband . How did you find the online Tribunal Appeal ?
Julie Anne 💕🧡 xx -
Hello, it was a little daunting actually.
I completed everything as best I could and reiterated all of the information I had already provided, and reasons, we didn’t have any new evidence to provide.
Still not heard anything back apart from initial confirmation and that they will update me once given PIP chance to respond………

You didn't need to give them any information they already have because DWP will send them everything you've already sent. You will receive a copy of that in the "bundle."

Hi Poppy yes I had read that, but the reason I gave the information again was because of the CAB website where it stated - Give the specific reasons why your appealing + explain why your appealing.
I suppose it’s duplicated information but just didn’t want to miss something out at each stage?Timeline of husbands PIP claim….

JulieAnne11…..I have just posted an update on my thread.
DWP just called and after 30 - 35 min call she has awarded my husband enhanced for both, she has now cancelled tribunal appeal.
She was really nice to speak to and I felt she totally understood his needs and where he missed out on points.
Really hope you now get sorted too, please keep me updated on how you get on x
I can’t tell you how relieved I am and shocked xTimeline of husbands PIP claim….
