Not much for me to say here but welcome to the community @S_77! I hope it all goes something with changing your appointee. We're always here if you have any further questions or just fancy having a chatThey/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

Opinions are my own, such as mashed potato being bad. -
Thank you @Jimm_Scope some more advice would be greatly appreciated! I feel I’m more then capable of taking of my own affairs but I’m not really sure how the process goes if I’m honest

You need to contact PIP for this and ask them to remove the appointee. If they agree that you can manage your money then the appointee will be removed. https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/removing-an-appointee/For UC you will need to do this separately. Was the appointee set up for your UC separately to your PIP? it should have been because the PIP appointee would not have been automatically been for your UC. If it was then you'll need to put a message onto your journal and ask them to remove the appointeed.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
