I am starting a new full time job and wanted to know if i am still entitled to my claim of child tax credit and child benefit , the job is most minimum wage and i live on my own with my 15 year old son .

You will need to report the changes to Income Support and this will stop.You also need to report the changes to your local Authority and your housing benefit and Council Tax reduction will be recalculated.
You also need to report the changes to HMRC for Tax Credit’s. Whether this continues will depend on your earnings.There shouldn’t be any affect on child benefit.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. Tax credits is based on earnings received in the previous tax years unless there's a £2,500 difference (which there will be because you weren't working) and then they will calculate it on this years income.I'm not sure if this can be reported online though, sorry. You can have a look and if there's no where to report it through your Gov.uk account then you'll need to ring them.Do also be aware that you will at some point be sent a letter for migration to Universal Credit.
