I've just joined the community. I am a visually impaired 45 year old wheelchair user. I am trying to connect with people who are, like me, registered blind and disabled. I have been trying to come up with a symbol to say that I am visually impaired when out and about so people are aware. It would be good to know how many visually impaired wheelchairs there are in this community and what your experiences are. At the minute I can still see enough to go a short distance or to go along familiar routes on my own though the only issue is Joe public is not always aware that I cannot see.

Hello @mitoIAN
Welcome to the community! I hope you are able to find some great friendships here! We tend to have more getting to know you conversations in our Coffee Lounge. But we do have a section titled Physical and Neurological impairments where you may find more people to connect with0 -
