Hello again. As some of tou will remember I posted 2 weeks ago that I was to have a telephone assessment. Which did happen.
But I'm wondering how long does it take the assessor to send in that assessment to PIP and hiw long after tha5 does it take PIP to let me know they have it?
I'm based in Belfast.
Thank you.

Sometimes the report is returned the same day as the assessment. Other times it can take a few days. However, if it’s chosen for audit it will delay the process of it being returned.
Once it’s returned a decision can take up to 12 weeks.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

No problem. An audit means they are checking the assessor did their job correctly. Nothing for you to worry about at all.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. Hi. Also in NI and so glad to find this thread. The wait for a decision is TORTURE.
Applied for PIP 4th May. Face to face assessment 7th August. Got text to say they had report 9th August followed by letter to say they had everything to make a decision dated 24th August. Text said eight weeks for decision. It's now six weeks since I was assessed.
Slowly climbing the walls tbh. -

At the beginning, counting the scores online, I would have said mine were high, too. But as time goes on I'm becoming more and more convinced they'll turne down. Makes me wish I'd asked for the report too! -
@coldwatermermaid
I know that's how I feel to I'm not holding my breath for a positive result 😒 you can still ask for a copy of your report just phone the helpline but to be honest when I first seen where she had ticked I was OK but now with it taking so long I keep thinking the decision maker has gone against it so still panicking -
