Tracking disabled person

My son of 58 is learning disabled and frequently wanders off sleeping rough without letting anyone know where he is. He agrees to having a tracking device fitted but we need advice on the best one to get. Please advise us.
Thank you

Hello @zeldal
Welcome to the community! That must be such a frightful situation for you. I am glad that this is a solution that could help.
I don't know much about trackers myself, hopefully someone on the community has more information for you.
I did want to comment and ask, have you looked at personal alarms? There are used for the elderly but have seen them used in other situations. Age UK has an information page about it. I also wonder if they know of any tracking devices to help with your query?0 -
As far as I'm aware these devises are often used for people with dementia so it might be worth contacting those types of charities to see what they recommend doing1

Hi @zeldal - I've been trying to catch one of my neighbours, as he'd told me he had a tracking device for his wife who has dementia. He's had it for about a month & is very pleased with it.It's the Locaite 4g pendant: https://locaite.me/https://locaite.me/product/locaite-me-4g/ it can also be bought through AmazonYou can also buy a belt clip or wrist strap if you look under 'Shop' then 'Accessories' in the 2nd link.1
