Hi @Graham76, welcome to the community! I hope we can help
How are you doing? I know it can be hard to come to terms with a diagnosis and often you aren't informed of the support that is available.
Did the doctor who diagnosed you signpost anything or give you any next steps at all? Have you spoken to your GP since your diagnosis like Chiarieds mentions? They will be able to refer you to support.0 -
No I've been to g,ps and hospital twice ,sent to a physio, who admitted she couldn't do much to help...I'm not getting any advice or suport. The only way I can find out information is by looking on YouTube, which is not a great idea. I have just received a appointment from the pain clinic, which I've waited fir for a year, and thay are suggesting injections into my spin. Feel overwhelming with it all and ,not informed0

Hi @Graham76
Sorry to hear you're feeling overwhelmed with your condition. It must be incredibly frustrating facing long waits for treatment when you don't feel informed either.
Do you have any friends or family that can help to support you?
It might not help your condition directly, but having someone to talk to or help make other parts of your life feel less overwhelming can sometimes make things feel easier overall.
I hope the pain clinic appointment sets things back on the right track for you.

No I don't have any family, and friends don't seem to understand. This condition reacted suddenly about 6 weeks ago .0

Sorry to hear that @Graham76, it sounds like you're having a really tough time. It can be so isolating when your friends don't understand what you're going through.
I have moved your post over to the chronic pain board, so that our members with experience of similar conditions can offer some advice and tips.
If you're feeling up to it, you might also find it useful to have a read through this post:
Resources and tips for those living with chronic pain
It has some useful links to places you might be able to find some advice and support.
I hope things start looking up for you soon.
