Good morning hope everyone is well.
I had my PIP review on the telephone on the 4th September and by the 11th i had a text saying my review was complete and I will be getting a decision letter within 2 weeks. Bit I got my normal PIP low rate care amount today 13th September.
Does that mean my claim will be staying the same?? Or is it because the review text and payment date was so close together??
Thanks

@Simo1 Unfortunately, we can't say until you receive the letter. You can ring the DWP and ask, but please keep in mind a lot of them are call centre workers. You will get a better confirmation of your outcome from the letter.0

Many thanks for your response.0

It does sound very much like the standard text you received just happened to be closely followed by your usual PIP payment.I do hope you get a decision letter quickly, as it can take anything from 2-12 weeks.0

Hi, I am in the exact same position. My conditions have got worse and I did all the paperwork sent everything in to show it’s got worse/new things have happened and I didn’t even receive an assessment, I just received a text this Monday saying my review is complete and I will receive a decision letter within two weeks. Today is my usual pip payment date and I have been paid my payment of standard which I have always received so also worried this means they have just rejected everything and sticking at standard or wondering whether it’s just as the text and payment date were sort of close together.0

Hi @chey568, I am unsure how quickly the DWP updates PIP payments. I'll try to find some information about it if I can.
Once you've received your decision letter and if you do disagree with the outcome remember you can go for a Mandatory Reconsideration, that link will help explain the process to you. I hope it's just that the decision and payment were too close, but if it wasn't and you're still on standard just remember we are here for support0
