Hi as we have all heard what mel stride the boss of the DWP is planning to do making sick and disabled people find work...now i no some of you out there as disabled people might already be working or find this a good idea...but for the one,s who really struggle like me with day today activities this is going to be hard all those of us who take medication have different reactions some good some bad i,m on NINTEDANIB (OFEV) 150mg have to take 2 a day... also anti sickness tablets CYCLIZINE 50mg have to take 3 a day with which makes me very tired i have idiopathic pulmonsry fibrosis and this alone make me tired i have other mental health issues as well...the point i,m trying to make is this is a violation of our human rights and we did,nt ask to be sick or disabled now i think the majority of us think that labour will win the next election.. so when mel stride announced these packages i emailed LIZ KENDALL the shadow minister for the DWP saying i was appauled at mel strides proposals so i would say if like me you want to stop this barbaric nonsense email LIZ KENDALL asking what she is going to do...thankyou for reading this

I refuse to believe that people totally unable to work will be forced to do so, what might not be the worst idea would be people with disabilities who with help could be encouraged back to work might be given the help they need.
But what we must keep in mind is that non of this is expected to happen before 2025 and we have an election to come before then, we will have the opportunity to show this govt. our revulsion at that point.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡 -
Indeed, for the proposals to go ahead as planned has quite some doubt as the election would happen between now and then.
Also the proposals are not so bad as to be forcing everyone to go to work programmes. The consultation is slightly worrying for some, I was shocked when one of the 3 proposals for each descriptor being looked at was just to remove it entirely.
Having said that though I'd like to reiterate, not only is it years away. There are a lot of obstacles in it's path.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
