Hi @brandylove - & welcome to the community - no, if you do a MR your PIP stays in payment. Please don't worry as it's ever so rare for a MR to lower the award you already have too.
Remember PIP is not about any diagnosis, but rather how your disability affects certain activities of daily living &/mobility the majority of the time. Have a look again at the activities/descriptors that are looked at: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/personal-independence-payment-descriptors-and-scores-april-2023.pdf
With your MR you should say where you think you should have got points, & why giving a couple of recent, detailed examples as to the difficulty you face for each applicable descriptor, i.e. when did it happen, where, what happened, did anyone see this, & were there any consequences to attempting/doing an activity?
Say if you can't do an activity 'reliably,' i.e. safely, to an acceptable standard, repeat as often as one would reasonably expect, or if it takes you much longer than someone without a disability. See this mentioned at the end of the link above.
Put your name & National Insurance number on each page. Keep a copy, & get a free Certificate of Posting from your Post Office when sending it off.

    Hello brandylove
Just to add to Chiarieds great advice.
If this is a "Review" of a previous award then the descision make must give a detailed reason on why your condition has improved to warrant a reduction in your previous award.
If you just put "no change" on your review form or gave little detail then now is the time to add detailed anacdotal written personal evidence on the problems and difficulties you are having now with your condition completing the PIP activities that apply to you Reliably (as stated above by Chiarieds)
You can find more information about challenging a rediction in youe award after review in my link bellow in my signature or by clicking here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/696285#Comment_696285
    Hope that helps

I've got to come back to this as it's concerning me.
@brandylove - please will you say if:
-you had an assessment with your daughter present as your appointee?
    - or you had an assessment with your daughter, followed later by a phone call from IAS, despite saying your daughter wasn't there?
-or you just had a phone call (no previous assessment) where you were asked a couple questions by IAS, despite saying your daughter wasn't there, which seems to be the case?

    Hello @brandylove

    Welcome to the community! :)

I'm sorry to hear that they have reduced your award. I agree with members here, if you feel that shouldn't have happened then you can put in for Mandatory Reconsideration. I'd encourage you and your daughter to reach out to Citizen's Advice for more support with the process. Please keep us updated <3

That’s not how PIP reviews work, would you please share a copy of your most recent decision letter (removing any personal information).

Is your daughter your official appointee and she has all the paper work to confirm this? if so that's very concerning! They should not have even spoken to you because you have an appointee. May i ask if she lives with you? If not then why do they even have your phone number? They should have contact details of your appointee and not for you.

That's very odd and a new one for me. I've never heard of that happening before. Once a new decision is made normally the procedure is for it to overrule the current decision. I've never known them to give you a "choice" before. I would start with making a complaint about this, which should be done by your appointee and not you.
