Hi everyone i have been waiting around 10 months for my pip review I received a txt on fri saying my pip review is complete and the decision letter could take up to 2 weeks? Has anyone any experience with this is it always as long as 2 weeks to receive the letter? Also It was a review scheduled by them not me that rang however my condition has worsened and i had evidence of this. If i receive a higher amount will they backdate any pay from the start of review or anytime since as its taken so long ? Thanks 😊

Hi there @ksjm04 and welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear it's dragged on so long, the review letter usually takes around two weeks to arrive, so just hold on a bit longer!
Any backpay will be from when the DWP made the decision, if the DWP scheduled the review. It's only if you request a review that backpay could go from the date of your request. I believe that is the right way around?0 -
Thank you @Albus_Scope I really have been so stressed if Im honest as I don’t know what to expect as I’ve read some people get money backdated even if it was a normal scheduled review and some people don’t I am not expecting anything back. I just hope I will still get my award
… if i rang pip can they tell me decision over the phone? Thanks so much

@poppy123456 thank you so much 😊 also do you happen to know if i get awarded high rate care or mobility do i have to inform universal credit? Thanks so much for kindly replying0

You can tell them yes, however, a mobility award will not affect your UC. If you already have standard daily living PIP award then Enhanced will not affect your UC.0
