@66Mustang if you can get 2% in a year, you're doing it right!
I used to work for a stocks youtuber, so I got a lot of tips. I had my fun with silly stocks during covid, then got burned when the market crashed, now I just invest in more stable funds like yourself.Albus (he/him)

@Albus_Scope oh, that must have been quite interesting to do! I think I'd rather work for Scope though given the choice

I think I need to learn a few lessons from you two, I've never fully understood stocks so have always saved using normal savings accounts (I move around every so often for the highest rate), ISA's and a small amount that I was gifted as a child (that I have never withdrawn) in Premium Bonds which after all those years has earned me the grand total of £50 which was 3 months ago and to be honest I forgot about them it was that long but it was a nice feeling.
I do hope I will understand shares one day though as I do believe there's a huge potential for people who invest this way. -
@66Mustang it was a very different world, but I'm so thankful they chose to employ me, they helped me out so much. But yes, I am so much happier working in a job where I can hopefully really make a difference with someones day/week/month. Scope are THE best.
@bg844 in all honesty, finding a savings account with a good return can be all you really need. It's a lot less stressful too haha. Premium bonds are great too, getting that random £50 can be an actual life saver, or at least allow a bit of an unexpected treat.Albus (he/him)
